Christmas markets start with the right city.
A winter getaway can be a cultural visit, a shopping break or simply a few days of lights and good food. The city changes the pace, the distance between the hotel and centre and the kind of programme you can enjoy without rushing. The proposal should start with those preferences, rather than only the market name.
Current destinations to compare
- Vienna: 10 to 13 November 2026. Some Vienna Christmas markets open in mid-November, but opening dates and hours should be confirmed with official sources before travelling.
- Prague: 30 November to 3 December 2026. A practical base for combining the historic centre with the markets.
- Brussels: 24 to 27 November 2026. The itinerary lands at Brussels South Charleroi Airport (CRL), about 55 km from central Brussels; a transfer or additional transport is needed to reach the city.
Availability and itinerary must be confirmed for your dates. See the offers catalogue for trips published in this season, or request a quote through the quote form for any destination, from your preferred departure airport.
What to compare before choosing
- walking or public transport distance between the accommodation, main square and restaurants;
- number of nights and useful hours in the city, allowing for arrival and return;
- board basis, breakfast, baggage, insurance and any transfers;
- your preferred departure airport and how connections affect your time.
The market programme is not automatically included.
Opening times, stalls, concerts and activities for each market should be checked with official sources for the chosen season. A package labelled as a Christmas market does not automatically include a gala dinner, event admission, a reserved table or excursions. If you want a food experience, concert or special evening, ask for it to be described in the proposal and confirm what is contracted.

Send your preferred city, flexible dates, departure airport, number of nights and travel pace through the proposal request form. Marta will compare the options for any destination, departing from wherever you are, and clarify all inclusions before booking.
If the winter you picture is snow and aurora rather than city lights, compare Lapland and Iceland.
Send your preferred city, departure airport, flexible dates, number of nights and travel pace through the proposal request. This lets me compare a getaway centred on the markets with a trip that also leaves room for the city.
